Lightweight organic cotton cardigan.

The Riann Cardigan is a fine gauge organic cotton cardigan with a long sleeve. Slightly cropped with a dropped shoulder, the V-neck cardigan has four natural corozo buttons. The cotton knit is warm with a slight structure to it.

Material

100% Organic Cotton

The yarn is fine guage organic cotton that is soft, lightweight and slightly structured.

Organic cotton is grown without the use of synthetic fertilizers or hazardous pesticides, which protects biodiversity and waterways and builds and maintains soil fertility.

The organic cotton fibres used in this fabric were sourced from India.

Maker

This garment was made in India by The Rajlakshmi Cotton Mills (RCM), a Fairtrade certified manufacturer established in 1934. With factories in Kolkata and Noida, RCM specialise in making fabrics and garments from organic cotton, using rain fed, premium organic cotton, sourced from the Chetna project. The cotton is processed and finished in-house according to stringent environmental standards.
RCM is SA8000, Fairtrade and GOTS certified, demonstrating their commitment to ethical and sustainable production practices.

Care Instructions

  • Cool iron
  • Dry cleanable
  • Cold hand wash using eco-friendly detergent
  • Do not rub, wring or spin dry
  • Squeeze out excess water
  • Gently pull wet garment into shape
  • Dry flat in shade
  • Cool iron on reverse
  • Knitwear can shrink up to 3cm in length and width however after pressing and wear the yarn will relax and grow, which our production team consider with each design.
